Claudia Hartman‘s work consists of ceramic sculptures that would resemble the natural forms one would find while hiking the winding trails of Hopkinton . They are made of Raku, gas, sawdust and kiln fired pieces that look as if they appear to be alive and moving throughout this rocky terrain. Hartman Studio is a three story post and beam barn built in 1885. This historical dwelling reflects her broad scope of design and love for landscaping . It was the original general store and post office in the 1800’s for the village of Moscow, Rhode Island.
